Summer Vacationland
Yes, I have been MIA for a bit. There I was, rolling right along, and then whammo - out of town visits, weddings, showers, and the best of it, beach vacations. This was our first vacation, just the three of us, since the third of us was born. i.e., this one was long overdue and very much enjoyed.
So, I'll start dusting this blog off with one of the nicest things about the beach: the scenery.
Another nice thing about the beach, besides the whole vacation thing, and the food, and the lack of alarm clocks, and the flip-flops all day long: what a great place for portraits. I managed to trek the family out for the sweet spot of evening light a few times, and the combination sure made it hard to take a bad shot. I'll skip the full family shots and get right to the cutest part:
