Supporting Local Business
My day job involves supporting local businesses in a nuts and bolts way. We have so many fantastic and creative local businesses, that I'd like to take that support out from behind the scenes here, and share some of my favorites every once in a while.
Since I am a total paper nerd and had to go get my planner fix, my first shop local post will feature rock paper scissors. I can't say enough great things about this store, which is located in the Barracks North wing of the Barracks Rd shopping center. It is connected to its sister store, Scarpa, and the retail space is laid out very nicely. It is small but comfortable, and chock full of goodies. They have high end stationary and letterpress (which LOVE), but manage no to feel stuffy at all.
I picked up myAgenda for this coming year. Purty, modern and old school at the same time.
I also purchased some cute cute letterpress cards. Oh how I love letterpress.
Stop in. I bet you'll think of a special someone who could use a handwritten Hello.
