The Importance of Follow-Up Shoots
I have two little ones, so I certainly understand that it can be challenging to make time for family shots. But family shots are so important. Not only that, when you have a baby, they change so quickly that follow-up shoots are super important. You never look at a photo months or years later and regret taking the time to get it done. Selfishly, follow-up shots are tons of fun for me to see how the little ones change each time.
I just shot a follow-up for Ms. Cutie McCuterson here, and lucky for me, this is the third time I've had the opportunity to do so. We had a four week session, and a three month session prior to these shots. It's so fun to compare the stages and the differences. How else could you keep up with these cheeks?!
In other developments, we are now sitting up!

In an effort to practice what I preach and because there's only so much you can do with a tripod and remote, I've scheduled our first family portrait session with the extremely talented Angie Brement. I'm so excited to be on the other side of the lens with the rest of the family and to get a shot of us by such a great photographer.
1 Year Ago: Privilege
The subsequent passing of Mrs. A makes me even more grateful to be able to have captured these moments.
